In today’s episode, James interviews Kate Horsman. Kate is a Counsellor, Nutritionist and Mindfulness Leader in Vancouver BC. Her training through both professional counseling and nutrition, provide a bridge between the mind-body connection which lends greatly to her specialization in Eating Disorders and Mental Illness. As a holistic counsellor, Kate utilizes tools of all mediums, towards the possibility for change.
Kate’s education is both local and abroad. From CSNN to eCornell and, most importantly, the school of life! She credits a diverse experience that has led her to a depth of understanding, that engages clients in creative and meaningful change through food, mind and compassion.
Kate continues to work in her Private Practice in Vancouver with her one on one clients, while also working with organizations such as lululemon, Aritzia, Microsoft and more on their mental health, wellness and mindfulness programs. Non for profit work is a priority in Kate’s life, and as such she spends countless hours with organizations such as Face of Today, as a way to assist in a greater reach of help for all in need.
